Is there a way to insert a pause within a speedial number. I thought it was a comma, but cant really remember.

Assuming you're asking on CUCM, no, there's no way to do that.
The , means a 1 second pause but that's on Unity/CUC

You can use my "speed dial with pauses" TCL/IVR script for the purpose. It requires H.323 on the router.
