speeddial.xml issues

I’m running CUCME 15.1(2)T / CME 8.1.  I’m trying to create a local speed dial based on the following document:

   http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/guide/cmespeed.html

I have placed 32 entries in the speeddial.xml based on that documentation stating there’s a limit of 32 entries (which seems a little low).

When I get on a phone and go into the directory menu -> local speed dial I get an XML configuration error.

My http settings are:

ip http server

ip http authentication local

ip http secure-server

ip http path flash:/gui

Those are existing settings that I chose not to modify.

Based on that I uploaded that speeddial.xml to both "flash:" as well as "flash:/gui".

So perhaps I uploaded the file to the wrong directory, or perhaps I made a mistake in the speeddial.xml file.  How do I troubleshoot this?

You need to do a debug on TFTP events.  You did at the command:

tftp-server flash:speeddial-xml

.....right????   It won't work without that in place too.

If that's in place, chances are pretty good that there is a mistake in the xml file.  Upload the XML file here, and lets take a look at it.
