SRST 911 router question

hutto.txed.net

I have some cisco 2800 routers, H.323 gateways, that I am using as SRST, I am also using them to dial 911 with an external analog direct line from the phone co.  Since this is an external line and not part of my PRI, All of my phones are IPPhones, when ever someone dials 911 it goes out the analog phone line 555-555-5555, which is plugged directly into my fxo port, which works great.  The issue is when 911 operator calls back to see if it is an emergency, there is no one to answer this line, just the router, is there a way to have this line forwarded to a ip phone, with a real person?  The reason we use the analog line, is because the phone co. can attach a real address to this number and the emergency people show up at the correct location.

Maximo,

Are you still unable to receive calls on 1114 from incoming calls through the fxo ports? If so, try configuring the plar without opx.

connection plar 1114

You can create a translation rule to change the called number to the phone number of an operator or secretary or a designated person who will answer the call.

Hi Maximo.

On the voice-port configuration you can add this command:

connection plar-opx xxxx where xxxx is the extension you want to send the call to.

Hope this helps

I tried the command and when I call the analog line it just rings and rings.  The extension I added is my phone extension at my desk and it never rings, I tried it with just the four digit numbers and than the 7 digit with a 9 to get out, makes no difference.  Here is my router run config.

Maximo,

You have to use 4 digits to match your dial-peers that point to cucm. Try this "connection plar opx 5493"
