Hi Guys,
I have a situation and looking for a call routing solution in SRST mode.
In the remote site, we have 3 VGs. VG1 and VG2 are primary and secondary VG having the PRI connection which is used as the main DID range for Inbound and Outbound calls. VG3 has a PRI for Inbound only.
Under normal condition, the Incoming calls on VG3 is routed to Centralized CUCM via VoIP Dialpeer and gets forwarded to an PSTN number via VG1.
Flow : Inbound---VG3---H323---CUCM--CTI-RP---CFwdALL----H323---VG1--PSTN
I wanted the call to work when there is WAN outage and in SRST state.
Incoming call----VG3----VG1---PSTN
I am planning to create a VoIP SRST dialpeer with low preference pointing to VG1 IP with destination patter XXXX and then have a redirect configured on VG1 for XXXX to PSTN. Will this work ? or is there a better solution ? Please suggest. Thanks !!
Please note : All VGs are in remote site

This is the way to do it in SRST mode as you lose access to your CUCM cluster.
