SRST Problem

We have a dozen sites with H323/SRST, on the last weekend we have a window maintenance on CCM Cluster(5.1.3). So, all the site works on srst no problem. But when the cluster CCM back works, few phones register no CCM, 90% of phones stay on srst. Time? I doubt, because the phones on 30 hours still unregistered on CCM.

To resolve it, we reset the phones on srst (call-manager-fallback).

Is there any configuration on H323/SRST to resolve it?

we need more information, like:

1. ccm version

2. ios version

3, phone model and firmware

4. number of phones than experienced this behavior,

5. network path

6. ccm sdi,sdl traces

tftp traces

7. sniffer traces

8. link and topology characteristics

before jumping into conclusions

ATAs take more time, make sure all servers were not overloaded

dns configurations

I will take this information.

I can say that are various phones (7911,7912,7941,7960,7937, ATA,)

All links have more 3 Mb.

The callmanager cluster is 5.1.3-4102. (15Mb link)

+1500 PHONES experienced this behavior.

Sniffer I can't send, the site are remote and another country.

The network path is star, the ccms are on center of the star.
