sorry, not possible. not the 1st time i've heard someone ask for this that some PBXs provide.

Hi,
I think its possible to stream audio, by using the URI in ip phone service, RTPRX for unicast and RTPMRX for multicast. I tried with unicast and its working allmost perfect. U have to stream the audio with g.711 u law.
Steps
1 - Create one IP Phone service in ur communication manager, with service url,
RTPMRx:239.1.1.1:16390:80
Where 239.1.1.1 matches your multicast ip address. 16390 is the port number of the stream .
And the :80 is optional, and is the volume %.
make sure u r streaming in g.711 ulaw.

Has anyone used the Barix device as an alternative MOH source?

This definitely is possible now. You will need a Barix Instreamer. (converts audio into g.711 uLaw).
