SX20 on a shelf - would velcro hold it on?

Hello all,

I'm thinking of fitting the SX20 to a shelf directly under the screen. Ideally the shelf would be no larger than the SX20 itself. Does the SX20 have enough flat surface on it's bottom side to attach velcro to stop it getting knocked off the shelf? Looking at the drawings the answers are inconclusive.
