I reckon you need 1/2 hour for the physical work.
I can not see anything that says HOT insert of cards therefore I would definitely power the box down.
1) Save config.
copy run start
2) Power down
3) Insert E1 card
4) Power Up.
5) Allow to load and verify your existing service is valid
E.g. Are the phones working etc etc.
6) Verify the UC560 is seeing the new E1 card.
Show version
show diag
I all GOOD you can then configure the E1 , dial peers etc etc
