When we do a TDR test on a cisco phone we are getting C and D as open. When we plug in a different device we get normal on all pairs. Do TDR tests work on cisco phones?
We are able to run TDR on our switch on other ports. The Switches are 9300s. We do not use any power injectors only POE. The model of the phones that are having issues are 7811,7841,8841,8851,7832,8832.
Take one of the affected phones and directly connect the phones to the switch.
Re-run the TDR & compare the result. This will eliminate any suspicion of a consolidation point.
