Third Party SIP phones call forwward access codes to CUCM 6.1.2

Hi,

Have a bunch of analog wireless DECT phones that all connect back to an ASCOM box. The ASCOM connects to the LAN for connectivity back to the CUCM which is version 6.1.2.1000-1

All of the DECT phones are configured as Basic 3rd party SIP devices on CUCM with username/passwords.

Just want to know is there an access code that the analog phones can use which get passed to the CUCM to set the CallForwardAll number?

Can this be done?

Thanks

Hi,

on the ASCOM DECT Gateway you can enable "Supplementary Services", then use the folowing codes to activate the Call Forward Unconditional on DECT phones:

*21*$# where $ represents the number where you want to forward

#21# to disable the forward unconditional if previously executed

The problem is that using this kind of forward you can forward calls (from DECT phones) only to numbers configured WITHOUT PARTITION on the CallManager.

In other words, the "Call Forward All CSS" configured on the line of the "Basic SIP Third Party Device" is not considered using this codes, and so you can contact only Directory Numbers without Partition.

I think the issue is related to the way the CUCM intend the SIP message "302 Moved Temporarily" received from the IP DECT Gateway.

Anyone have resolved this issue???

Thanks

Define the "Rerouting Calling Search Space" into the "Protocol Specific Information" of the phone configuration in CCM. Then you will be able to use the supplementary services forward codes on Ascom phones.
