When the users connect to the paging system there is no audble notification, is there a way to configure this for a FXO MGCP trunk?

You haven't even mentioned system and version in use?
Anyway. The phone shows connected, and that is the only notification.

Yeah, that's not so great for analog users that don't have a display.
Anyway, CM version is 8.5
