Transfer directly to VM

Hey guys --

In the past I have been able to transfer directly to VM by creating a CTI PT with the extension *XXXX; CFA to VM with a VM profile that has a mask of XXXX.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to get this to work in CM6.

Let me know if I'm missing anything.

Hi Ohamien,

I didn't think the *xxxx method worked with newer Unity versions. The new sequence was xxxx#2. Here is a pretty good Tech Note;

Well that works, but is it not possible for the user to press *XXXX, and have the VM system translate that to XXXX#2?

I tried a VM profile of XXXX#2, but no dice.

I can't think of anything that would have changed in Unity to prevent the *xxxx method from working. This feature is pretty much entirely in CCM and transparent to Unity. Here's the tech note that worked with earlier CCM versions...
