Transferring a live call by using a speed dial

Hi, Has anyone any ideas on how to resolve this issue. We have a small helpdesk of 6 people that receive calls. Half of these calls need to be transferred off to an external company. So during the call the agent currently is forced to start the transfer and then dial the number and blind transfer. Is there a way we can transfer those calls off without having to get the agent to keep dialling the number. The setup is with 7941 phones registered to call manager and a second line added as the agent line. The primary line is their personal line. Ideally we don't want to use IP communicator or CCX.

Thanks

Hi

You say you are using the second line as the agent line, but then say you don't want to use CCX?

Are you, or are you not using UCCX and are these people UCCX agents?

I ask, because your choices are:

1) Set up a speed dial BLF button on one of the line keys. With 7941, you have two line keys and as you are using them both you have a problem. You could use 796x type phones instead...

2) If you are using UCCX and CAD, you can set up task buttons that will automatically do the transfer when you click on them in CAD.

Aaron

You can also dial an abbreviated number, like two or three digits.
