Translate calling number for calls but not for forwarded calls

Hi,

I have a problem with a setup involving a CUCM and an Avaya IP-PBX.

The CUCM has a 5 digit dial plan, the Avaya 3 digit .

To call an Avaya IP-phone from a Cisco IP-Phone the user has to dial the prefix 45+XXX (Avaya extension).

To allow callback from the call list on CUCM, for calls from Avaya two Cisco we have created a translation pattern to adding the prefix 45 in front of the extension.

Now, some users need to forward an Avaya IP-Phone to a Cisco IP-Phone, but the cisco user see not the correct original calling number, because of our translation-pattern.

For example:

1.

  • Avaya extension: 205
  • CUCM extension: 50601
  •  205 calls 50601, on the 50601 the calling-number will be displayed as 45205 > OK!

2.

  • Avaya extension: 205
  • CUCM extension: 50601
  • Calling number +435129988777
  • 205 has a CFA to 50601, +435129988777 calls 205 and 50601 see as calling-number +435129945777 > wrong!

3.

  • Avaya extension: 205
  • CUCM extension: 50601
  • Calling number: CUCM extension 50602
  • 205 has a CFA to 50601,  50602 calls 205 and 50601 see as calling-number 45602 > wrong

What is the best way to add the prefix to the Avaya extension for incoming calls only, but not for forwarded calls?

Thanks in advanced for your help.

Mirko
