Hello all.
What is the deal with Cisco TRC M5 builds and virtually no UCCX support? I am sure there is a reason for it, does anyone know why it is?

An update, https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/uc_system/virtualization/virtualization-cisco-unified-contact-center-express.html page has just been updated with "ALERT! This page has been updated to reflect compatibility with the latest M5 hardware" accordingly.

Cannot speak for the BU, but from my understanding they are just slightly behind approving it, but it should be approved very soon. If I was to buy new servers I would go with M5 for CCX with an assumption that it will be supported any day.

Thanks for the reply Chris, I agree with you but I am still nervous for a customer to invest in M5 hardware while UCCX is not formally supported. I will try and get something more official from Cisco.

Well, at worst case scenario the M5 server would be considered Spec Based rather than TRC for time being, assuming the CPU speed meets the limitations which may no be the case if it's below 2.5 Ghz clock speed.
