Treat internal calls as external calls

Have suspended telephone systems in locations. Now phones of these locations are directly connected to CUCM of main office. So thats a single-site deployment.

Question:
Are there possibilties to declare calls from former members of locations to be treated as external calls? This would be very useful in business process.

Hi,

that's right - calling and called parties are both registered to same cucm cluster. Thanks for tip with OnNet and OffNet. I'll look at this in detail.

Best regards

Frank

Does route pattern has any effect in this case? Call is from one extension to another extension.

Hello everyone!

I think, Route Pattern '8000' can be created and put in Partition_1, that listed 1st in existing CSS, but then it should go to any gateway and return back to CUCM.

On Gateway config page u wil need to configure CSS for inbound calls without Partition_1, so call will go to CC.

So it will be difficult Dial Plan.

Why don't you want tot try change Calling Party Number Type from Cisco CallManager to any other in Translation Pattern?

Mat be it will be treated as offnet call?

we are facing a similar issue . All internal calls are routing via E1 PRI hence we are being charged by service provider for IP phone IP phone calls .both calling and called parties are registered in the same CUCM .E1 PRI is terminated to an H.323 Gateway .what need to be done for this ??

The issue which you are facing is completely different.
