My name is Hyeonjin.
I've a question about troubleshooting background noise on call
Symptom
1. A site sometimes occured background noise on call, especially outbound call.
2. IP-Phone to IP-Phone is no problem.
CUCM 10.0
VG : 2911(MGCP), 1E1
IP-Phone : CP-7821
I'm using route pattern on cucm when I make outbound call
I'm using DN on CCX(CTI Route Point) when I receive a inbound call.
Please, share your know-how.

Since you have already isolated the issue is only with external calls you will require the PCM capture from gateway as described in the second link above to find out which leg of the call induces the issue.

From CCX side, can you please check what codec you are using in System >> System Parameters. Also check the prompt specifications and find out the codec in which it had been recorded. Lot many times, prompts are recorded in G.729 whereas in UCCX codec chosen in G711
