Need little clarification here....

So you have a phone registered with UC/CME, and u want to send

two different caller IDs when dialing out using the same line/button on

that phone? How are you going to differntiate if that oubound call is

from CompanyA or CompanyB when both are using same phone+DN?

A simpler way would be to create two different ephone dns with diff.

dn/name/descp/label etc. and then apply it to two diff. buttons on the

phone. Use proper button on the phone to make resp. outbound call

and callerID shd reflect that.

Hi,

If I understand it correctly you have UC500 series with CME and you would like to change the calling party number on outgoing calls depending on where the call is going. Let me know if I misunderstood it. And give me an example with a drawing if possible.

You can accomplish this by creating two separate outgoing dialpeers and adding translation rules to them outbound direction. For example:

voice translation-rule 1
rule 1 /match/ /replace/

voice translation-profile
translate calling 1

voice translation-rule 2
rule 1 /match/ /replace/

voice translation-profile

translate calling 2

dial-peer voice 100 voip

destination-pattern 7777

session protocol sipv2

session target ipv4:10.1.1.1

translation-profile outgoing

dial-peer voice 101 voip

destination-pattern 8888

session protocol sipv2

session target ipv4:10.1.1.2

translation-profile outgoing

Let me know if you have any questions.
