Hi Racim,

Yes, you will need the Enhanced Licenses

Phones and Soft Clients

Q: What is the difference between an Enhanced IP and a Basic IP user?

A: An enhanced IP user may use any Cisco hard or soft-phone. A Basic IP user is meant primarily for analog migration and is restricted to the 6901 and 6911 models.

Cheers!

Rob

Thanks Rob,

I believe the UPGRADE license you referenced was for upgrading an existing CMBE.

To change the default basic licenses on a new CMBE use LIC-BE5K-BAS2ADV for the Phones and LIC-BE5K-BAS2ENH for the voice mail.
