UC500-Background LOGO 7911

I've a UC560 with a few 7911 phones connected to it. I want to change default logo (Cisco logo) with our comapny logo.

I've created Destops/95x34x1 directory in flash:. I've upload List.xml file and our company logos (in good format)to this directory.

When I go to phone,user preferences, background, it give me the next error. 'selections unavailable'.

If I debug tftp events on UC560, it shows the next error Looking for Desktops/95x34x1/List.xml

Any idea

Hi Luis

You're probably missing the tftp-server command to serve out the file.

However, what I normally do is use the "alias" command on the tftp command so I don't have to create horrible directory structures on the router flash.

Example:

tftp-server flash:logo.png alias Desktops/95x34x1/logo.png

tftp-server flash:List.xml alias Desktops/95x34x1/List.xml

This allows me to store the logo and List.xml file in the root directory of the flash.

However, you will need  tftp-server commands to serve out the content, regardless of where you store them.

I would try clearing out the existing tftp-server commands with the "no tftp-server" command first for each entry and then recreate them.

Ok... I see the problem.

Do:

no tftp-server flash:logo.png alias Desktops/95x34x1/logo.png

(this was only me illustrating loading a logo file in the root of the router's flash)

tftp-server flash:Desktops/95x34x1/List.xml

tftp-server flash:Desktops/95x34x1/Meinsalogo.png

tftp-server flash:Desktops/95x34x1/TN-Meinsalogo.png

Hopefully that should be it.

that doesn't make much sense... As in your "show run" output those files were not being served as far as I

could see.

Could you copy and paste the output from "show run | i tftp" again here..? Your ZIP files keep crashing my browser (I'm stupidly using IE9 so it's my own fault) - so if you could just copy and paste that would be great.

I've solved the problem for PNG files.

Now the problem is only with List.xml.

You definitely haven't got a tftp-server file for your List.xml

Could you try (one more time)

tftp-server flash:Desktops/95x34x1/List.xml

and if that fails, try

no tftp-server flash:Desktops/95x34x1/List.xml

tftp-server flash:Desktops/95x34x1/List.xml

And then see if the command appears..?

Problem was solved.

I've a duplicate entry served as List.xml

Finally, I've been able to remove it to be served from tftp-server, and I've been able to publish the correct entry.

Now I can select our company logo from our phones.
