Uc540 External Access for Voicemail

Hi Everybody,

I have a customer who wants to be able to access their voicemail, when they are out of the office.

I have tried setting up a number without voicemail and put a call forward all to voicemail but then it states there is no voicemail box setup for this user.

Could anybody please tell me how i go about completing this

Hi Nathan,

If you will go to configure -> users and extensions -> voicemail.  A windows should

then appear and you can add a PSTN DID for outside Voicemail access.

Which type of PSTN circuits do you have? Do you have DID ?

There is a Voicemail Access PSTN Number but this is a blue field and won't let me type a number in it.

Im using SIP but i have this is a staging lab at the min. Yes i have a DID that can be used

When i changed the voicemail DDI to a number in their range it automatically populated the external pstn number. My next problem is it asks for the user ID yet i don't know how the phone enters the digits.
