UC540 with 4 fxo lines

Hi all,

i have 4 7940 phones with ext. 1001,1002,1003,1004. I have 4 FXO lines. Now my scenario is simple so pls guide me. I want phone with extenstion 1001 when he press 9 he should always get FXO line 1. When another guy with extension 1002 press 9, his call should go outside FXO line 2.

Can someone pls guide me how to do it. Its just like giving dedicated lines to all 4 persons.

You can use "trunk xx" under ephone-dn for that. XX are steering digits to route the call to the DP and port you want.
