Hi, I have a UC560 (UC560-FXO-K9). Can i connect a SIP trunk directly to the WAN port on this unit or do I need a separate connection card. Does the same go for PRI?
If i need a separate card is this the right part number? (VWIC2-1MFT-T1/E1)
Thanks!

You can use the WAN port for SIP connections.
The card number is correct for a single port PRI.

Keep in mind a SIP trunk is a virtual trunk. Anything that is an IP Circuit/Transport can be configured as a SIP trunk. Anything from an Ethernet port, to a Fiber Optic SFP, or a T1 configured for Data can be used as an underlying IP transport for a SIP trunk.
