Greetings Cisco Support Community,
It has been a tremendous effort, but I have finally gotten everything working with my Polycom Soundpoint 601 SIP phones (not supported) on a Cisco UC560 running CME and IOS Experimental Version 15.1(20110413:164243) [skalahas-V151_2_T3 103]. That is, everything except Music On Hold :/
So, after cracking my head for hours and hours, I have finally decided to ask the community for help! Here is what I have as of now:
Polycom holds Polycom there is no MOH or Tone on Hold heard.
Polycom holds PSTN no MOH or Tone on Hold heard on PSTN.
CIPC holds Polycom MOH is heard on Polycom.
Polycom holds CIPC there is no MOH or Tone on Hold.
CIPC holds PSTN, MOH is heard on PSTN.
So basically, MOH works perfectly fine with the Cisco IP Communicator, but never works if the hold initiates from a Polycom.
I have attached my running-config and my Polycom configuration files, as I am not sure if the misconfiguration is on the CME side, or on the Polycom side (though I am guessing that it must be a Polycom configuration that is missing).
