UCCX 7 to UCCX 8.5 restore problem

I have a UCCX 7 cluster ( pub and sub) installed on MCS servers we are migrating to UCS and installting UCCX 8.5

I have taken bakup from the UCCX 7 using PUT tool and upgraded the call manager to 8.5

I installed the UCCX 8.5 publisher on the UCS and tried to restore the backup i took from the old cluster.

but it gives error at phase 1

the error is :  "  failed : importing hibernate data operation "

any ideas.

i have also found these links but they are not usefull i have taken the backup three times and every restore the same error

Hi Mohamed,

What is the exact version of UCCX 7.0, and what SR?

I would suggest to upgrade it to the latest SR, and use its specific PUT tool to backup and try restoring it.

I have now UCCX version 7.0.1SR05_Build504, which is compatible with 8.5.1.

So any ideas ?

Make sure you have the version of PUT that matches the version of UCCX you are migrating to.

e.g. If migrating to UCCX 8.5.1SU3, make PUT is that version and not 8.5.1 (no SU or SU1 etc.).
