UCM 7 and Personal Directory

UCM 7 with LDAP sync/auth enabled. User accessing PD is being prompted for userid and PIN. If they supply it, and then logout when done, they need to renter it. If they exit the screen, they do not need to reenter. Is this normal behavior, and are these configurable parameters. thx

This is normal behavior. The PD will stay logged in until you explicitly log out.

stay logged in forever?

Is there a reason why it does this, never did this in the cm4 world, of course, i didnt have ldap integration.

I can't say for development. But I guess the reason was quite a lot customer complaining that they had to re-login after a while. In contrast, very few customer (if there's any) complained that PD didn't logout automatically.

Just my guess.
