This message means that your phone lost the connectivity with the CME. If this happens during an active call, the call won't drop (usually but in some instances it drops depending on your topology and the services used).

Once the call is ended, the phone has to reregister with the CME and if reachable you will get the service back. If not then you the phone will keep trying every 30 seconds (by default).

You need to verify your network infrastructure to see why the phone is losing connectivity with the CME.

Is your CME remote from the site which is giving this error message? In this case good start to look at the WAN. Also, look at the bandwidth utilization of your WAN links

Right now I have no CUCM and that is next on my list after i get the CUME with CUE working to peak.

I have the FXO in trunk-group 200

FXO port 1/1/0
plar to AA
trunk 200

FXO port 1/1/1
plar to AA
trunk 200

My CUE is set to CMCM mode and i haven't chance to convert to CCME mode.
I'm doing this on test lab before i deploy to site with CUE with CCME mode.

Can CUE in CUCM mode cause the problem to switch to CUCM mode?

What are you talking about? You need to describe your issue clearly. Can you post your config and briefly describe your issue?

HTH Regards, Yosh

Mate, you are confusing here. In the initial post you mentioned UCM down message with CME. Now you are talking about CUCM and AA.

Please specify clearly your requirement.
