Hi,
I would like to know anyone had installed CUCM 6.1 on UCS C series.
Iam trying to install but i cannot continue with the installation wizard, it says cannot find drive.
Is UCS supports CUCM 6 version?

Technically its not supported, but you can find manually build the VMware machine with the same specs as a MCS 7845 for example. (Memory, CPU, Drive space, etc). Then it should load. I have loaded CUCM 6.X on my VMware workstation on my i5 laptop.

With Cisco's Drive to 9 program it is now supported:

Hi Jacob,
Call Manager installation on VM is supported from 8.0(2) and above.
As suggested by Mr. Chris , u can refer Jump Upgrade process under Drive to 9 in non-production.

With D29, its only supported for that purpose, and there wont be any call processing for anything below 8.02 CUCM. You'll only install it, DRS, install the COP file which will enable the upgrade, and disable all call processing, and then upgrade to supported version on ESXi.
For lab purposes, training, testing, etc. its possible, but not supported.
