Unable to create voice-port on cisco 2811

kindly need support , i cant configure voice ports in cisco 2811,

Since i see dialer-group 1 configured under  interface Serial1/0:15 this is not used for voice and its for channelized data.

Since this is a bit old module, i believe those  cards are for data and not for voice. AFAIk to support voice it should be VWIC card.

Hi,

You are on advanced IP services image. You need either voice image or
advanced enterprise services image.

FYI, 2800 routers are EOS and you won't find their images on cisco website.

i tried a lot of different IOS like

c2800nm-ipvoicek9-mz.151-3.T

c2800nm-advipservicesk9-mz.151-2.T2

c2800nm-spservicesk9-mz.124-3f

all of the the same , no voice port command enabled

regarding to the module its called "NM-2CE1T1-PRI" .i think it works as ISDN PRI

E1 Module installed is :- "NM-2CE1T1-PRI"

PVDM2-64 installed and recognized

what i want is to configure voice E1 PRI Between router and PSTN network to enable voice calls to Asterisk PBX

the problems :-

1- i cant execute command " Voice-port "in config mode

2- i cant execute command " port" under dial-peer pots

3- no output listed when execute command show voice port summary

Hi Omar,

Unfortunately NM-2CE1T1-PRI is for data only not for Voice.

That's why you're unable to conficure voice-ports on this gateway.

For 28XX series routers Voice Modules part number starts with a V.

Eg VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 this card is a  2 ports ISDN -PRI supporting Voice.
