Hi,

Would anyone help to fix below!

What I'm trying to do?

- I'm working on meet me. Meet me pattern is 2222 and is obsolutly working fine internally. I used 2222 (DID) number so anyone can join conference from outside by dialing DID number 2222.

Issue.

- When i try to join Meet me conference by dialing DID it gives busy tone. Unable to join.

Is there something to do with transcode??

- I have already a transcode in CUCM and registered with Gateway

Can you please share your call flow i.e from where the call is coming and who is dialling?

Hello Nishant,

I'm using H.323.

Call flow from outside : Meet me conference is on and I'm using my mobile to call 01-3-42222 . Where as 2222 is meet me pattern.

Call flow Internally : Meet me conference is on and I'm calling 2222 (Meet me) successfully joined.

Let me know if any more info required.

To rule out transcoder issue you can specify g711 codec at the dial peer level. If the issue persists you should collect the output of 'debug voice ccapi inout' for the failed call.

Sami,

It looks like your translation is not working as it should..The first dial-peer that was matched was 100 and that comes back saying that the number dialled doesnt exist, then dial-peer 5000 was tried and that destination also rejected the call. How are you translating 2287797 to 2222?

How are you tranlsating the dialled number to 2287797 to 2222 in cucm? Do you have a xlation pattern configured? I dont see any tranlsation rules in the gateway doing this

Hi Sam,

It seems that you are translating the called number incorrectly.

As per your translation pattern, you are converting 2287797 to 77XX while your meet me number is 2222.

Modify your required meet-me number and check again.

Also do check that proper CSS is applied to gateway so that it can access meet-me number.

Tried the same, but no luck.

Is there any other way to forward call comming to 2287797 (DID) should get forwarded to 2222 (Meet me).

There is no CSS applied to the xlation pattern. Assign a CSS that has the partition of the DN 2222 in it..

HI,

Did assigned the CSS. still no luck. Internally working fine but when trying to call from outside no answer. The call gets dropped.

What i tried is.

- Configured DID number 22287797 as an Meet me pattern. Instead configuring (2222) and translating. Still the same.

Did anyone faced this issue, and found solution.

Hi,

This is an old post, however I has the same issue configuring SIP Trunks from Gamma. The conference was not working for the external calls.

Everything was working fine internally but when calls were coming from external numbers the calls were dropped

I found that the issue is in the codec. At least for me Gamma Telecom uses by default a g711alaw while in the dsp farm conference profile I had a g711ulaw.

I added the g711alaw codec to the DSPfarm and magically now everything works.
