Unable to ping / register to CME gateway

Hello,

We have a setup where a checkpoint interface provides dhcp scope for the voice network IP phones and have a cme router. Firewall interface connected to cisco switch , to which the router and the IP phones are connected. Firwall can ping the IP phones which are on the Ip scheme as the router. but cant reach the router itself. Router cant ping the firewall interface either, which is supposed to be the gateway. have added routes to the router and to the switch to make sure they all can communicate. But seem to be missing something still.

Client IP 10.34.1.X

voice IP : 10.34.4.x

IP address assigning works ok without any issues ( IP phones get the proper IP and so do the clients ). any suggestions on what needs to be checked would be very helpful. attaching the config for the router and the switch.

Why do have this route config ? I mean same Ip with two subnet ?

ip route 10.34.1.0 255.255.255.0 10.34.4.1

ip route 10.34.1.0 255.255.255.128 10.34.1.1

From your switch you must be able to ping the Router . If you are not able to ping from switch you need to check the connection from switch to the router, the port configurations etc.

Many thanks Nithin. Would you be kind enough to advise what specific configuration we are looking for. We are not able to ping the router or from router to the switch. It’s as if the interface is completely down. Ports on the switch are configured as trunk with vlan allowed all.

Thanks for your kind assistance.
