Hi there, fellow engineers.
I have a client with a CUCM 6.1(5)SU3 cluster. Recently they purchased few additional device units so I went through the known procedure and got the lic files. So-far-so-good.
I tryied to upload them yesterday and even though the upload process does not produce any errors/problems, neither the device unit count changes nor the file - that supposedly was uploaded - appears for viewing in the drop-down list !
As if I never uploaded the file...
OK, one lic file could be corrupt... Tryied another one and another one, same thing.
I compared the last lic file I had uploaded to the CUCM (couple of years ago), with the current ones looking for possible incompatibilities and to double-check the publisher's MAC. Everything seems in order.
(Same {5.0} CUCM version, correct MAC, same LicFileVersion, same format in general...)
Has anyone else seen this before ?
Regards
Constantinos

Hi Aman.
That's an interesting thought...
I didn't think of it at the time (I am no longer at the client) -- probably because he only had I.E. installed on his PC.
I will give him a call tomorrow to try it himself.
We'll see.
Thanx though.

I have faced same problem while uploading lic files to CUCM 6.1.
It’s the problem with browser it a bug as mentioned by Aman.
I have used Internet Explorer most of the time but after that incident I have stopped and started using Firefox and it work very well
