Unity 11.5 Dial by Name-route to different extension

I have dial by name enabled, our CEO is listed in the directory but I want the calls to go to his administrative assistant's extension.

Any ideas on how to make that happen?

That's an interesting one. I assume you want some calls getting through to the CEO via the directory, but you don't want every Tom, **bleep**, and Harry being able to call him/her. Try the alternate name feature under edit user basics in CUC and use the assistant's name, then test. That should only affect the voice dialing, but I have never used it personally. Test first.

That worked good enough.  When the caller says the name of our CEO the system comes back with the assistant's name.  Not perfect but it'll work.
