Unity connection 10.0 Call forwarding rules

Hello Experts

we upgraded from Unity 7 to Unity Connection 10.0 recently, and lost this functionality.

Whats needed:

For each site, we have about 100 phones, but only 60 of them have voicemail boxes.

We want to add a call forwarding rule or such, that Unity connection can forward calls to voicemail for any unknown numbers

 within a range to the default Call handler for that site.

For example: lets say we have range of phones extensions at a site 5500 to 5599. However Unity has only 60 mailboxes i.e. 5500 to 5559

if a call comes in to Unity voicemail for extension 5575, Unity should forward it to the main Call handler @ that site.

 

Confusion:

If I add such a call forwarding rule, which will take preference the call forwarding rule OR the user mailboxes in that range ?

You just need to check the checkbox:

Allow Transfers to Numbers Not Associated with Users or Call Handlers
