Unity Connection 8.6 license

Hi All,

I've went through documentation, but i'm not being able to comprehend the procedure to migrating Unity Conn 1.1 to 8.6 with fresh installation.

The existing setup is Unity Conn1.1 on MCS.

The new stup is Unity Conn8.6 on UCS (Esxi).

How are we going to re-host the license in UConn1.1 into UConn8.6? Is it the similar procedure like how we don for CUCM? send email to licensing@cisco.com with mac address info & PAK key? Or is it a different kind of procedure need to be follow?

I need both Unity Conn to run parallel for a certain period of time for migration purpose.

You need to order the upgrade through PUT tool, however UCXN 1.1 has been eos for a while so I am not sure if you can get it, do you have active UCSS on it?
