I have 2 call manager clusters one uses 5 digit extensions(CUCM A) & another uses a e.164 extensions (CUCM B).
they both share a unity connection server.
Only CUCM A runs a SIP trunk to the CUC
CUCM A & CUCM B can reach each other via SIP ICT.
CUCM B reach to the Unity connection via the trunk to CUCM A which in turn has a SIP trunk to CUC.
1. I have a requirement in which a call hits a CTI RP in my CUCM A which forwards all call to Voice mail.
2. In the Unity connection should hit a prompt which should say Press one to dial any extension you wish to reach.
(this could be a registered phone in CUCM A or CUCM B)
3. Once the user presses 1 , a voice directive gets the user to punch the extension and get the call forwarded to call manager(CUCM A)..
which will route the call to CUCM B.
I have added the CTI RP as the user extension in unity connection.
what features in unity connection should i be using to address point 2

A call handler and the checkbox to allow you to dial non subscriber DNs, there are plenty of post on the subject if you search CSC
