Hey Folks,
Running Cisco Unity Connection 7.1.3.10000-68
When calling in to a mailbox from an outside line, Hitting * (asterisk) does not do anything.
I looked at a particular user, and "Call Input Keys" has the asterisk defined to go to Sign-In.
Not sure where else to look. When calling into an extension, hitting any of the keys on the keypad seems to do nothing.
Any ideas where to start to look here?
Thanks,
James

Hi James,
It looks like you are down to the DTMF problem that Java nicely noted
earlier. What are you using for your system trunking connections. PRI's
or SIP??
Cheers!

SIP trunk(s).
Strange thing is, The tones are not recognized while the greeting is played but, when the VM goes to record my message, I can push tones and those sounds will be recorded in the message itself. I would have to presume tht hte trunk conneciton is already completed when the greeting picks up.
Unless it's some sort of special SIP setting to ignore tones until message recording occurs.

Hi James,
I would go ahead and open a new thread related to SIP and DTMF, I have seen many related threads
but we don't run any SIP here so I can't direct you to a solution
Sorry my friend, but at least you have identified where this is failing.
Cheers!
