Unity Connection > Users > Import Users takes forever

My Import Users is problematic : ( 

We are LDAP integrated, with LDAP authentication and Dir Sync is running.

I click on Users > Import Users and then wait 3-4 minutes the screen will show up.

Unity Connection 10.5.1.10000-7 with IE 9 running Windows 7 and Java 7 Update 51.

Server CPU is mostly idle etc.

Couple of things I have questions on:

1. Is this the only thing that runs slow on Unity? 
2. Is this a VM? 
3. How much RAM is allocated? 
4. What does the VM report if it is a VM (resource utilization wise since the cpu is not being taxed)? 
5. When you do a utils network ping between Unity and CUCM what are the response times? 

Sounds like something network related but it could be with the servers themselves.  Also, yahsiel's recommendation is a good idea to check as well.  Try firefox or chrome and see if there is a difference.
