Unity Connection transfer options

I would like to remove the ability for end users to change their transfer settings.  Currently a user can call into voice mail then change the transfer settings so they go to a different number but I want to remove their ability to do this.

Hi Cameron,

This can be done in Unity with a "Custom Keypad Mapping".

Here are the steps:

  1. Login to Unity Connection web administration
  2. Navigate to "Tools > Custom Keypad Mapping"
  3. Choose one of the custom mappings (for example "Custom Keypad Mapping 6")
  4. Inside of the Custom Keypad Mapping, select the "Settings Menu" tab
  5. Inside of the "Settings Menu" tab, locate the "Transfer settings" option (option 4 by default)
  6. Clear the "Key Assignment" (make it blank) and Uncheck the "Option Voiced in Menu" option
  7. Save the custom keypad mapping
  8. Locate your user which you would like to apply the new mapping to (Users > Users)
  9. Once you have located the user select "Edit > Phone Menu"
  10. Change the "Conversation Style" to your Custom Keypad Mapping
  11. Save

Please let us know if this helps!
