unity connection voicemail delete from Cisco PCA

Hi We have a user, who isnt able to delete the voicemail from his cisco phone.

He has provided me the timestamp for the same.

I decided to use Cisco PCA , so when i try to go the end user on cisco unity connection and go this >> user basics>> password, settings, choose password >> i am not able to see a web application password download option.

cisco unity connection version is : 6.1.2 and we specifically need to delete a voicemail message ( solitary).

Appreciate some suggestion on this.

Hi Abhishek,

Hope all is well my friend

Does the users COS have the licensed feature "access to Inbox"?

Hi Rob,

Trying to lead an ideal life and learn .

How are you?

I tried checking the COS page and these options were not checked, since this is for a specific user ( not users), i hope this is not going to effect the other configurations adveresly ( which does not happen ideally), but i need your kind confirmation on this, as i am someone who does not make all the UC solutions decisions here, and have to get approval from other guys.

Also, if you are authenticating through LDAP, you won't see the web app password (controlled by LDAP)

Hi Abhishek,

Life is good my friend

Changes to the COS will effect all user's on that specific COS so

you may want to create a new COS with Inbox access and move

that user over at least temporarily. Check your licenses and see what's

available for;

Cisco Unity Inbox users

Cheers!
