Hello all,
I have been migrating users from different voicemail and call manager clusters to our centrally located call manager and unity cluster.
I know I need to bump up my voicemail ports but how do I figure out how many voicemail ports I need to add? Is there a cisco recommended metric to help me figure out how many voicemail ports we need?
If anyone knows how to figure this out, can you please let me know.
Thank you.
Rgds,
Vicky

Hello,
There's no hard and fast rules to sizing a system for the number of users per port. Typically sizing should be based on the previous voicemail system's traffic patterns.it's really specific to the customer's traffic patterns. If previous traffic pattern reports aren't available from the previous voicemail system, run the port usage analyzer tool to collect actual traffic patterns on the server and then adjust accordingly.
