Can someone point me in the direction of a link that shows the permission the Unity Account for Unified Messaging needs within Exchange server?

Are you asking about Unity or Unity Connection? What version and what version of Exchange?

Sorry.  Unity Connection  8.6 and Exchange 2007 SP3
