Hi,
I have a question regarding CUE 7.1.5 and CUCM 7.1.3, and how the Caller-ID or calling party number is passed to CUE.
Incoming calls are passed from the H.323 Voice Gateway to the CUCM cluster with no change to the calling party number. On the CUCM we have set the following CallManager service parameters to prefix 00 for national, and 000 for international Numbers:
Incoming Calling Party National Number Prefix - Phone --> 00
Incoming Calling Party International Number Prefix - Phone --> 000
Incoming Calling Party Subscriber Number Prefix - Phone --> 00
With this configuration, numbers are displayed correctly on IP Phones. Also when forwarding to another IP phone, the original calling number is displayed correctly.
When forwarding to VoiceMail however, these prefixes seem to be ignored. CUE sends Emails (as well as announcement when playing voicemails) with the wrong calling party number, e.g. 1234567 instead of 001234567.
There are no number translations or route patterns "between CUCM and CUE", and I can't seem to find a way to prefix the missing 0's in CUE. Does anybody have an explanation to this behavior?
Kind Regards,
Ingo
