Unknown carrier for On Hold Music

The practice was purchased recently and the phone system is Cisco IP Phone 7960.  There is currently "On hold message" that we are trying to discover where/who the source is.  There seems to be nothing indicating through the Cisco router that we are aware of.  Is there a way to bypass on the phone system, or a possible way to discover who/ how the service is linked so that it can be changed.

The hold message typically comes from the CUCM/Router/3rd party, vs the telephone.  You should be able to see the far end point ip address change when the call is placed on hold and that should hint you on where it is coming from (Internal/External). The good news is that it can be changed from the administration window if you so desire.
