hi

i have problem that incoming calls not appearing number for example if some one call me from his mobile to our number is showing unknown number so any call from out side is unknown ,please check my configurations :

just to inform you that extension numbers and name is working fine (internally extension callings)

i mean any call from outside(landline-mobile ) its showing unknown number

ex: i tried to call my company name from my mobile so its showing on cisco phone unknown number i mean there is no digits appears

One question I have, does the carrier for the POTS lines provide caller ID service? If so is it active for the two phone lines you have?

1. Attach an analog phone to the POTS line and test if you even receive a CLID. If you do, make a note after how many rings.
2. Depending upon how many rings it is configure the same with "caller-id alerting ring X" command under the voice-port. X is the number of rings. Do a "shut/no shut" under the port after the change.
3. If you are not sure, check with the Telco is your lines are subscribed for CLID.
