Greetings,
We have a a requirement from the business that when phones are not registered that they continue to ring since there is no voicemail setup for this site (they don't to hear the fast busy) The only setting I see for unregistered phones is to forward the call to a number. Is there another setting that I may be missing that would allow calls to just ring? Or any ideas in general as to a way around this?

CF for unregistered is the way to go. I am not sure why a customer would want to the number to ring till the far end hangs up. This could actually give the caller an answer from someone.

Hi there,
I agree with Steven that this is a strange request (+5 Steven) ................
but who are we to argue with the customer
There is a way you can do this by setting up a phone (maybe put it in the wiring closet)
give it a DN (it doesn't have to be a DID number) don't set any Forward No Answer on the new DN.
Set the Forward Unregistered to this new (hidden) DN and..... Bob's your Uncle.
Make sure to turn off the Ringer on this phantom phone so the peeps don't hear it ringing.
Cheers!
Rob
