I recently downloaded Jabber 10.5 and after installing it I was tasked with by my boss to update the .cop.sng files found in the admin download on CISCO .com for Jabber..
What are these .cop files do they need to be updated? If so how do you update them?
Any info would be great. I have never had to do this nor have I ever heard of them.

The admin has a README explaining what each .cop file does, you use them in CUCM and install them via OS admin.
If you're and end user, I would suggest you reaching out to your voice admin/support team for this.
