upgrade Call Manager Business edition 6.1.1.3000

Hi,

I need to upgrade a CUCM Business edition 6.1.1.3000-2 to 6.1.3

because in 6.1.1, I have a bug:

I don't find the good file on Cisco web site "download Software".

Can you provide me the link that I have need to upgrade in 6.1(3.9999.1) where bug is fixed?

Can I upgrade directly from version 6.1.1.3000 to 6.1.5?  I think that I must upgrade to 6.1.3 and after to 6.1.5  but I'm not sure.

to check if there is upgrade path, kindly find the below link for call manager. I think it is the same for buisness edition

version 6.1.1.3000 is 6.1(1b) didn't have direct upgrade to 6.1.5.

Dear

For DVD , if you have the required DVD which have the new operating  system you can use upgrade using DVD.

For SFTP , if i need to upgrade using a patch and i will download the patch from Cisco.com then i will put the contents on SFTP server (which must be reachable).In this case i do not have the DVD.

Hi,

the difference between dvd and sftp that dvd contain the upgrade media and sftp through network. you can use freeftpd as SFTP server.

to upgrade go to os administration, the install/upgrade and follow the wizard.
make sure that you choose "don't reboot after upgrade"

Why don't choose "don't reboot after upgrade" ?

because it is better to control the reboot process. manual reboot that means you are aware with your current status
