Dear Experts,
I am doning an upgrade from version 4.2 to version 8.6. I run DMA and upgrade to CCM version 7.1 as a bridge version.
the license file which was created on DMA process was on version 5 not version 7.1.
I remember there was a tool on cisco website to convert the license from version 4.2 to 7.1. I can't find this tool on the website.
Any one has an idea how to find this tool ? I don't know why it is removed.
thanks in advance
Anas

Hi Anas
Rob is spot on as normal (+5 :-))
However, if all you're after is a tempoary license for version 7.x so you can carry on upgrading, you can request an demo/eval license from www.cisco.com/go/license (Get Demo). I've done this before where under Vmware in particularly it stops you upgrading from 7.1(5) to 8.6 as you haven't got a valid license loaded.

Hi Anas,
As far as I know, we do not have any such tool.
What u can do is share the registered /unregistered IP phones snapshot from Call Manager 4.x so that they can provide u equivalent License Units for CUCM 8.x?
regds,
