OK, so is that during the actual install process??
Or once 9.1.2 is installed, you switched the partitions and then shut it down to change the OS??
Or you're trying to change the OS, BEFORE switching parttiions??

I try to explain the right state and position of the error message. I assume it is during the actual install process.
1. Install "Refresh COP File" version 1.2 is finish.
2. No reboot.
3. Choos Remote Update from sftp
4. CUCM 6.1.4 starts download 9.1.2 non bootable image (5GB) from sftp. Additional I open the CLI on Vmware to see what is going on.
5. After download from sftp is finish, I choose w/ switch version and had it try w/o switch version and press next Installation is in process I see over the Webapage.
6. After automatically first reboot from CUCM, I saw in CLI " unable to locate partition 5 to use for . press ok for Reboot".
Now it is in loop and come back all the time to this message.
Thanks in ahead Armin

What platform are you using??
I'd suspect an error with your storage due to that error.

Hi, still the same problem. I followed this guide starting on page 18 (see PDF)
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-35163
1. Choose Linux 3 32bit
2. Skip Step 3 because I have 6.1.4a
3. Install 6.1.4
4. Skip Step 5 and 6 because only one Server
5. Install Refresh Cop File 1.2
6. Restore Customer Data
7. Reboot
8. Start with Step 1 at page 19 and choose "Switch to new Version after Upgrade"
After time, in Installation Status Windows you see "Upgrade Complete" and the Server Restarts. In CLI you see the bootprocess and stops with this attached message. Also attached the Install log from the status window.
Any help are appreciate.
Thanks Armin

I did the procedure in my lab from 7.15 and 6.1.5 and got no problems, so, this must be something particular to your environment, I see you opened a case, unfortunately, you're not entitled for PDI services, you need one of these:

And your company holds none of the above
